Dramaland

Reasons to watch Korean dramas:
1. The boys. Practically every K-drama is full of beautiful things to look at; and the most beautiful thing of all is often the male lead. Have you seen most of the actors and idols out there? They'll ruin you!
2. The romance. If K-drama were a universe, romance would be its sun; it's usually at the heart of almost every drama. K-drama love can make you swoon, make you smile or make you cry in despair.
3. The culture. Learning the language and culture is certainly the biggest asset you can gain from watching K-dramas. After a few shows, it's impossible to avoid picking up some Korean.
4. The emotion. No matter what a K-drama is about, its goal is to make you feel something. It draws you into the story so completely that it sometimes feels as if you’ll never recover from your emotional engagement with it.
5. The music. K-drama soundtracks are incredibly cool and catchy. Although you may not understand the lyrics, you can listen to it and feel it. K-dramas are the gateway drug to K-pop.

Few dramas to get you started:
Boys Over Flowers Geum Jan Di attends the exclusive Shinhwa High School by a scholarship she gets because of an incident. She finds her shallow, privileged classmates unbearable, especially the notorious F4. Angry at their rudeness, Jan Di tells off F4 leader Gu Jun Pyo, bringing a world of trouble upon herself. Although Jun Pyo persists on bullying her, he begins to find himself attracted to Jan Di.
Coffee Prince Go Eun Chan is a tomboy who works multiple jobs to pay off debts. After Eun Chan bumps into Choi Han Kyul, the heir to a big food company, and is mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decides to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan agrees. Han Kyul's grandmother also puts him in charge of a coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan starts to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"?
Secret Garden - The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won, an arrogant and eccentric CEO, and Gil Ra Im, a poor and humble stuntwoman. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for an actress, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.
You're Beautiful - Go Mi Nyu is a sweet, naive young woman with her life set on becoming a nun after having been raised in an orphanage. But her twin brother Mi Nam has dreamt all his life of becoming a famous singer in order to be found by their parents. Mi Nam’s dream is finally about to come true, as is Mi Nyu’s, when he suddenly has to go to the States in order to recover from an eye surgery gone wrong. His manager begs Mi Nyu to take Mi Nam’s place, masquerading as a boy, in the idol group A.N.JELL just until Mi Nam can return.

Clockwise: Boys Over Flowers, Coffee Prince, Secret Garden, You're Beautiful.
You ought to watch at least one; you won't be sorry. Until next time... Fighting!!! (You will get the joke if you watch the dramas! *winks*)
